The Fantastic is basically a summary of the multitude of emotions I was experiencing throughout the last quarter of 2008 up to the first half of 2009. I managed to express them through instrumentals and get various artists to express what each instrumental said to them on each track, whether it was through rapping or singing.
 
This album marks a departure from my sound that I've sporting these last couple of years which was more melancholy and moody, to a more upbeat, hard hitting sound that at the same time manages to preserve the lush soul influences that this albums is laced with.
 
Basically, this album is my rendition of a modern day soul album, though the vocals are expressed differently than they would've been decades ago.
