Once Nomadic is an ambient reflection on life that was for the longest time on the move, but still more slowly phased than now. It conveys one man's interpretations of some of the beauty and difficulties encountered by these people at that time, and of the transition to sedentary life.
 
The album goes from the almost purely nature sound based "I Love It Here", to more melodic soundscapes of Two Thoughts Intertwine, to darker feelings as expressed by Droned To Death.
